Orrin Hatch, a former American attorney, and politician who served as the United States Senator from Utah from 1977 to 2019 for over 42 years and became the longest-serving Republican senator in history as he represented Utah for more than four decades. Orrin was one of two Senators to have served while Gerald Ford was president. He also served as the Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee.

Senate president pro tempore and longest-serving Republican senator Orrin Hatch passed away on 23rd April 2022. He took his last breath in Salt Lake City. The Hatch Foundation confirmed his death but the death cause is now a mystery.

Orrin Hatch was a married man. He was married to a beautiful wife whose name is Elaine Hansen. Hatch and his wife attended Brigham Young University, where they were classmates. This couple tied the knot onAugust 28, 1957, and has spent 60 years of their married life. Orrin and his wife both were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Orrin also served as a Mormon missionary in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
